Recruitment and
personnel
Graphology
can complement the existing recruitment process in two ways. Firstly,
applicants' handwriting can be filtered to provide a short list based on the job
specification, focussing the search and saving the potential employer’s
time. Secondly, an assessment of the short-listed candidates can assist with
the final selection.
Handwriting analysis
penetrates beneath the social veneer and can provide guidance on emotional
factors, such as sensitivity, tolerance of stress, motivation, attitude to
conflict and other traits such as judgement and adaptability. Personality
can be at least as important as professional qualifications in determining
the applicant’s long term performance. In addition the graphologist can test
for compatibility with your existing team.
Graphology can be used for team building and
personal coaching.
It
can help assess suitability for
promotion, or explain why someone is not fulfilling his or her
potential. Guidance about motivations can improve morale
and help to achieve team goals. It can add a new dimension to a redundancy
programme.
"After Liz's recruitment advice,
turnover increased and, more to the point, I was more relaxed and was able to
get my personal life back on track." Niki F. Kent
